Description
Open top containers are designed to carry bulk cargo that is easier to load from the top. Instead of a 14G steel roof open top containers have a tarp, tie down cord and a series of removable arched bows to hold the tarp up and prevent water from pooling on the tarp.
40ft Open Top Cargo Containers are available in New “AS IS” Cargo worthy and IICL condition.
Cargo worthy and better Open tops can be inspected and recertified to return to international shipping and carry cargo. Domestically open tops are used as scrap bins, chip haulers and agricultural products.
DRY BOX can provide the open top that best suits your needs as well as provide any necessary inspections and recertification. In most Domestic applications DRY BOX will pair a 40 foot open top container with a 40ft Goose Neck chassis from our inventory to create a mobile trailer to haul scrap, wood chips, grain or trash.
